These aren’t my five facts, they belong to my oldest daughter. We were alone in the car the other day so I decided to start asking some questions. Here’s what I learned.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I don’t know. I am still deciding. Maybe a ballerina or an artist. I am waiting to see which one I am better at before I decide for sure.
What does mommy do for a living?
You help people. You take care of bats and coyotes. (Since I keep work at work and separate from this blog, I will let your imagination soar!)
If you could help anyone in the world who would it be?
I would help little kids who didn’t have enough food to eat. (God bless you my child. This one made me tear up!)
What is your favorite color?
Orange (interesting, would have bet money she would say pink)
What was the best part of your day so far?
Daughter: Playing with Tyler F. at school.
Me (thinking): (Hmm, I might need to have a little conversation with this Tyler F. fellow. She speaks of him a lot)
Me: Why?
Daughter: Because he really likes me.
Me: Really?
Daughter: REALLY.
Me: OH, REALLY?
Daughter (Laughing): Yep. (glance back in mirror to see this HUGE smile on her face.
Me (thinking): (Hmm.. definitely need to have a talk with this little chap!)
Always take time to chat with your kids. Even 5 minutes in the car can really turn into some good quality time and good quality fun.

Wow! If more parents would just take that small amount of time to talk to their children, what a better world it would be. Congratulations Mom.
PS: Do you want me to go find this Tyler kid and have a talk with him before your husband finds out?
I agree with Jerry……make the time. They’re priceless and oh, what golden moments you create with your child.
And on the second point– I agree with Jerry. LOL
